Capital One is seeking a Senior Business Manager in its Enterprise Product and Experience Strategy team to lead strategic initiatives that shape product strategy and operations. You will partner with Product, Design and Engineering to drive growth and profitability while mentoring analytics teams across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of quantitative analysis experience.
• At least 3 years of qualitative analysis experience.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• At least 1 year of project management experience.
• Master's degree in Business or quantitative field preferred.
• 5+ years of quantitative analysis experience preferred.
• 5+ years of qualitative analysis experience preferred.
• 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
• 2+ years of product development experience preferred.
• 2+ years of financial modeling experience preferred.
• 2+ years of economic forecasting experience preferred.
• 2+ years of project management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior.
• Business ownership: Have an ownership mindset including strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon.
• Leadership: Manage and develop a team of analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates throughout the organization with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One.
• Product: Partner with Product Managers, Design and Engineering to build the best products for Capital One and its partners.
• Credit Risk: Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit and Fraud trends to historical behavior and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.
• Execution: Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.
• Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Tech, Product, Design and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
