Zusammenfassung

Shift5 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist in Rosslyn, VA. You will own day‑to‑day purchasing and strategic sourcing, partnering with Engineering, Hardware, Manufacturing, Finance, and Programs to ensure critical materials are sourced cost‑effectively and on time.

You’ll anticipate supply risks, build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and bring structure to procurement as Shift5 scales.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of purchasing/procurement/strategic sourcing or supply chain experience.
• Experience purchasing technical components, electronics, hardware, or manufactured goods.
• Experience with BOMs, purchase orders, inventory, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and partner with Engineering/Production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end purchasing for hardware, components, and materials from requisition to delivery.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, lead times, and availability.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes for strategic sourcing and contract manufacturing.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, MOQs, and other terms.
• Manage purchase orders, confirmations, deliveries, and supplier follow-up.
• Partner with Engineering/Program/Production on BOMs and schedules.
• Support new product introductions by early sourcing involvement.
