Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in Purchasing, Quality, or Manufacturing.
• Four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering preferred but not required.
• Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet business goals.
• Prior experience with an Oracle ERP system is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Travel up to 10% for supplier visits and site audits.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and analyze quotations, negotiate purchases, select suppliers & contractors, and approve purchase orders in Oracle to ensure timely supply of business materials and contractor services.
• Monitor open orders, drive order execution, and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
• Build relationships with the global supply base to promote procurement efficiencies and favorable terms.
• Identify new vendors and materials and expand sourcing options.
• Identify procurement improvement opportunities and participate in productivity initiatives.
• Coordinate with the finance organization to maintain supplier profiles and resolve payment issues.
• Utilize tools to maintain inventory levels according to business needs.
