Job summary

A leading IT staffing firm located in East Hanover, New Jersey, is seeking a Procurement Specialist responsible for supporting strategic sourcing for Indirect and Logistics projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include developing a fact base for spend and performance analytics, assisting in supplier negotiations, and collaborating with a North American team. A background in SAP will be an asset.

Qualifications

• Prior procurement experience of 5-7 years or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in issuing Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Proven track record of negotiation skills.
• Work with little supervision as part of a North American team.

Responsibilities

• Support a larger category of Strategic Projects within Indirect and Logistics.
• Develop and maintain factual bases for spend analysis and performance analytics.
• Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager in negotiations and contract analysis.
