Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist II in Alpharetta, GA to manage supplier relationships and execute cost-effective material procurement. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, ERP usage, and timely issue resolution.

Core hours are 9-4, with a focus on inventory availability, data accuracy, and process improvements to support customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Education or G.E.D. is required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in administrative role or equivalent with 1 of those years being in a supply chain field

Responsibilities

• Procure inventory within ERP at the most cost-effective manner and ensure availability for customers
• Serve as the primary contact for a select group of suppliers; build strong relationships for quick issue resolution
• Maintain product records including description changes, part numbers, and special setups
• Assist customers with inquiries pertaining to suppliers, product, price or availability via email or phone
• Facilitate invoice issue resolution with suppliers and internal teams to determine root cause
• Participate in inventory-related projects such as returns and swaps as requested
• Contribute to consolidating supplier base with timely, accurate process tracking across touchpoints
