Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is assisting a client in the supply chain sector in San Antonio, Texas, to hire a Procurement Specialist. The role focuses on data analysis, supplier relationship management, and cost-effective procurement to drive operational efficiency.

You will execute purchasing, negotiate contracts, manage POs, monitor deliveries, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning with policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Five years of procurement experience preferred.
• Experience in aviation or an MRO environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Execute purchasing activities and negotiate contracts by obtaining and reviewing quotes through various systems and tools.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective purchases while maintaining quality standards and following industry best practices.
• Create purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, and costs.
• Hold suppliers accountable for on-time delivery (OTD) requirements and communicate delivery issues effectively across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure supply chain contract accountability and compliance while improving cost efficiency and supplier quality.
• Analyze business processes and data to develop business cases for process improvements and sourcing decisions.
• Prepare and present data-driven reports and presentations to management.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of procurement policies and procedures and assist with updating sourcing guidelines as needed.
