Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Procurement Operations & Sourcing Analyst in Jersey City, NJ to support strategic sourcing and procurement across multiple categories. The role involves bid processes, supplier evaluations, market research, and cost benchmarking, with collaboration across Legal, Finance, Risk, Purchasing, and external suppliers.

You will create purchase orders, track deadlines, and develop negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives, while ensuring clear stakeholder communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 0–3 years in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or related function.
• Familiar with competitive sourcing, vendor management, purchasing, or contracts.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with good follow-through and judgment.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing and procurement activities across a variety of purchasing categories.
• Assist with competitive bid processes, supplier evaluations, market research, and cost benchmarking.
• Support development of negotiation strategies that align supplier agreements with business objectives.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Risk, Purchasing, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement process.
• Create and process purchase orders and assist with statements of work and related documentation.
• Track sourcing initiatives, deadlines, risks, and deliverables to support timely execution.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, expectations, and outcomes.
• Identify procurement issues or process risks and escalates concerns when appropriate.
• Research supplier markets, industry trends, and procurement technologies to identify potential improvements.
• Contribute to process enhancements that improve sourcing efficiency, supplier management, and overall procurement operations.
