Job summary

TeamSoft, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buyer (Procurement / Supply Chain) in Cedar Rapids, IA for a 4-month contract. The role covers PO processing, procurement operations, and high-volume purchasing with emphasis on accuracy and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities include PO lifecycle management, requisition-to-PO conversion in ERP, spend analysis, and driving procurement automation. Strong detail-orientation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and PO management.
• Experience with high-value, time-sensitive purchasing requests.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using ERP and e-Procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of purchase orders (POs) including creation, updates, tracking and closeout.
• Process requisitions into purchase orders within ERP systems.
• Monitor open POs for timely fulfillment and accurate records.
• Analyze purchasing activity and prepare spend and vendor performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and procurement automation.
• Support catalog/punchout purchasing programs and drive efficiency.
• Maintain supplier relationships and procurement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and procurement standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams on system enhancements to improve purchasing.
