Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Planning Buyer to support Procurement data analysis, reporting, and compliance initiatives. The role focuses on data management, cost coordination, and continuous improvement across teams, with coding and ERP experience valued.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business/Supply Chain (ideal); related fields acceptable.
• Proficient in MS Office with ERP/inventory management and data-management/coding background.
• ISO/IATF audit and management experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, data analysis, and time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Internal data maintenance and regular reporting (e.g., weekly inventory/shortage, monthly RM Forecast, Cost Per Wafer).
• Cost owner for Procurement; track, analyze CoEn activity and prepare monthly analysis + Exec CoEn presentation.
• Support data requests and ad hoc analyses for DS Procurement.
• Coordinate SOP/certification processes across Procurement.
• Support software/system upgrades and new programs (GSRM NSRM, MATS).
• Project management for team-wide improvements; support audit/compliance across internal/external bodies.
