Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Director of Procurement Operations to lead the procurement function’s operational core across direct and indirect spend. The role ensures efficient, compliant purchasing, standardization, and collaboration with Category Management and CoE teams.

It also oversees Material Planner operations to align production materials with schedules. The position offers a base salary of $146,000–$220,000 per year with annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement operations, P2P, sourcing support, or supply chain.
• Prior experience leading operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement technology, SOP development, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong people leadership with proven ability to drive accountability and operational consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing operations across direct and indirect teams.
• Monitor and improve P2P processes (POs, receiving, invoicing, issue resolution).
• Support sourcing execution with tools, data, and processes for timely buys.
• Ensure end-to-end adherence to procurement policies and supplier usage guidelines.
• Oversee procurement SOPs, onboarding, data classification, and catalog integration.
