Metropolitan Community College seeks an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the centralized purchasing function across all campuses and district departments. You will manage requisitions, vouchers, vendor relations, purchasing cards, and bids, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and MCC policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business/finance and at least three years of purchasing management experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance Management required.
• Minimum of three years' purchasing management or related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise staff to prioritize and assign work and conduct evaluations.
• Manage centralized purchasing operations ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
• Coordinate district-wide purchasing activities and develop specifications for solicitations.
• Oversee competitive bidding processes and contract execution with Legal.
• Prepare reports for the Board of Trustees and review requisitions in the financial system.
• Oversee vendor registration and electronic bid submissions.
• Process purchase orders and budget checks; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain purchasing website and liaise with suppliers.
