Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Procurement Specialist to support the Naval Power Mechanical Commodity Team in a remote role from the United States. You will execute purchase orders, manage supplier performance, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to optimize cost, schedule, and delivery.

This role requires MRP and SAP proficiency, DoD procurement experience with FAR/DFARS, and the ability to travel about 25% to RTX facilities and supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years, or 9 years without a degree.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations required.
• Travel up to 25% to RTX facilities and supplier sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders and amendments within contracts and pricing agreements.
• Manage supplier performance and delivery metrics across programs.
• Lead negotiation strategies and price discussions with suppliers.
• Support proposals and cost analyses for programs.
• Review Statements of Work and internal cost estimates.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers and business partners.
