USA Rare Earth LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to oversee materials across the magnet manufacturing operation. You’ll maintain accurate records, manage cycles, and work with Purchasing, Production, and Quality to minimize shortages and waste.

The role emphasizes traceability of rare earth materials, data-driven decisions, and process improvements, with leadership responsibilities for warehouse and material-control staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, materials management, or manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily inventory activities for raw materials, components, WIP, finished magnets, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/MRP system.
• Establish minimum, maximum, safety-stock, and reorder levels.
• Monitor inventory movements and investigate discrepancies.
• Develop inventory-control procedures and standard operating practices.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, lot tracking, and storage of materials.
• Monitor inventory aging and identify obsolete, excess, damaged, or slow-moving materials.
• Coordinate material availability with Production Planning and Manufacturing.
• Ensure production orders have required materials available when needed.
• Identify potential shortages before they impact schedules.
• Coordinate material movement across receiving, storage, production, and shipping.
• Support warehouse layout optimization and communication with Purchasing.
• Provide data to support purchasing decisions and production planning.
• Monitor incoming materials and identify supply issues.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance related to quantity, quality, lead time, and availability.
• Maintain inventory, locations, and transaction records in ERP/MRP.
• Develop inventory reports and dashboards for management.
• Analyze inventory trends and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support ERP/MRP improvements and process implementations.
• Lead and develop inventory, warehouse, receiving, and material-control staff.
• Promote accuracy, organization, safety, and continuous improvement.
