Qualifications

• Experience developing category strategies and leading complex negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze spend, identify opportunities, and deliver measurable value.
• Experience in regulated or global enterprise environments preferred.
• Knowledge of contract management, supplier governance, and procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for consulting services.
• Lead sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier selection for consulting engagements.
• Build partnerships with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk to drive value and service quality.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in third-party spend.
• Ensure adherence to AbbVie policies, governance, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business teams on contracts.
• Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to inform decisions.
• Support continuous improvement across procurement processes, tools, and reporting.
