Job summary

United Against Human Trafficking seeks a Procurement Manager to oversee centralized procurement for food, supplies, and program materials, guiding the full purchasing cycle from sourcing to award. You will align purchasing with organizational goals, manage a team, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal requirements.

You will lead supplier negotiations, optimize vendor relations, and develop demand plans to forecast needs while supporting audits and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or closely related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing with sourcing, vendor management, or formal procurement processes.
• 3–5 years of prior management experience.
• Experience with contract review and administration.
• Prior ERP system experience (Oracle or NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads procurement team and oversees purchasing department operations.
• Ensures adherence to procurement policies, supports audits, and maintains documentation.
• Oversees end-to-end purchasing process including order expediting and requisition monitoring.
• Leads formal procurement from solicitation to award, including MSAs.
• Supports contract administration and vendor communications with legal review handled by leadership.
• Leads sourcing and purchasing for food, operational supplies, and program materials.
• Evaluates suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability with KPI-driven reviews.
• Educates suppliers on expectations and negotiates pricing and discounts.
• Monitors grant-related spend and collaborates with program teams on procurement details.
• Analyzes procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency.
• Develops demand planning reports to forecast needs across operations and partners.
• Maintains industry knowledge to inform purchasing strategies.
