Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a buyer/holdback release analyst to join our Procurement & Expediting team. You will procure materials by assigned commodity, manage RFx, conduct supplier negotiations, and support holdbacks across construction-related contracts.

Responsibilities include ensuring SAP records are up to date, acting as SPOC for purchase orders, and collaborating with Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Accounts Payable.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years procurement experience purchasing natural gas equipment.
• Education plus experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials by assigned commodity with varying levels of complexity.
• Conduct commercial evaluations of quotes and negotiate with suppliers.
• Develop, issue, and manage RFx processes.
• Serve as SPOC for purchase orders within area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project teams, Legal, Risk, and Accounts Payable as required.
• Ensure information is recorded in SAP and procurement records.
• Support holdback processes and improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain holdback and release checklists reflecting lien legislation.
