Job summary

Graham Packaging seeks a Procurement Financial Analyst to support North American energy and direct materials spend. You will act as liaison with energy consultants, ensure proper accounting controls, provide financial analysis, and advance data-driven sourcing initiatives across the Global Sourcing team.

The role emphasizes insight, control, and planning/reporting, with collaboration across BU Leaders, Plant Operations, Pricing, and FP&A.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 5+ years Accounting/Finance or Purchasing Experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Applications.
• Experience with SAP, Business Information Warehouse (BIW), and HFM desirable.
• Excellent analytical, data-manipulation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to communicate concisely at all levels inside and outside the company.
• Ability to work both independently and in group settings to complete assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strategic thinker; uses creative and innovative problem-solving approach to achieve key success factors.
• Ability to travel as required; minimal travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between energy consultant and GPC leadership to manage energy sourcing initiatives.
• Provide accounting and internal controls supporting procurement for raw materials.
• Provide financial analysis to ensure the Global Sourcing team meets commitments.
• Support data-driven approaches in sourcing.
• Collaborate with senior unit professionals for insightful analyses.
• Assist with external/internal audit support and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead reporting and analysis around energy and direct material costs.
