Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Procurement Cost Engineer to drive cost optimization through robust cost modeling and analysis. You will develop should-cost models, compare estimates with supplier quotes, and deliver reports identifying cost-saving opportunities to support procurement negotiations.

As a key member of the global CoE, you will maintain CAP and Facton EPC cost calculations, analyze data from multiple sources, and contribute to refining cost-modeling tools and processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in engineering cost data analysis, preferably procurement-specific.
• Experience with Facton, CAP or similar cost-estimation tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau/Excel for clear financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze cost data to build cost models for components, assemblies, or systems.
• Maintain should-cost models and compare with quotes and market prices.
• Support procurement negotiations with detailed cost analyses and reports.
• Contribute to cost-modeling process improvements and VE/DFX initiatives.
