Job summary

Sumsub is seeking a Procurement Specialist to own and optimize our contract review process and spend management. You will work with Marketing, Product and IT teams to ensure cost-effective contracts and minimal financial risk across currencies and jurisdictions.

You will negotiate terms, monitor renewals, and identify opportunities for cost savings using data-driven insights, AI tools, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or financial control.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to read contracts and spot financial risks.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and delivering cost savings.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for contracts and negotiations.
• Experience with international vendors across currencies and jurisdictions.
• Experience with AI tools to speed up review, spend analysis and reporting.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor contracts for financial risks: payment terms, auto-renewals, price indexation, penalties, minimum commitments, termination terms, and currency exposure.
• Negotiate financial terms with vendors for discounts, better pricing, extended payment terms and flexible conditions.
• Work within the existing approval flow to keep turnaround times short.
• Analyze company spend by category to identify duplicate tools and unused subscriptions.
• Track contract expiry dates and prepare for renewals and renegotiations.
• Suggest improvements to the approval flow, procurement policy and spend thresholds.
