Job summary

Atlanta Housing is seeking a Purchasing Analyst in Atlanta, GA to develop and publish highly complex solicitations for goods or services. The role executes acquisition services in line with approved policy in a dynamic, customer-focused team environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a related bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience, knowledge of CFR/HUD regulations is preferred, and a willingness to obtain procurement certifications within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years of related experience.
• HUD/CFR regulations knowledge preferred; professional procurement certifications desirable.
• Be willing to obtain approved procurement or contract management certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute, review and develop methods for the E-Procurement system.
• Prepare training materials and provide technical assistance to business units.
• Assist in acquisition planning with business units and interface with leadership.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure funding availability for contracts.
• Ensure compliance, audit-readiness and timely procurement actions.
