Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer for a 6-month contract in Thousand Oaks, CA. This role handles purchasing of complex materials, negotiates terms, and supports R&D and manufacturing operations.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), at least 2 years as a Buyer, and experience with Deltek Costpoint and Solumina. Onsite work, 8 AM–5 PM; pay is $30–$34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience as a Buyer required.
• Preferred Systems Experience: Deltek Costpoint and/or Solumina is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Execution: Negotiate, award, and administer procurement actions for both commercial and Government-funded requirements.
• Commodity Management: Manage purchases across diverse categories, including equipment, software licenses, services, and contracts.
• Proposal Support: Assist cross-functional teams with proposal preparation and procurement data support.
• ERP Data Management: Utilize ERP systems daily to track orders and vendor records.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with vendors and internal customers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
