Job summary

LogistiQ Inc. is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support daily purchasing operations in our Port Clinton, Ohio facility. You will prepare and manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and help forecast and negotiate pricing to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and collaborate with internal teams across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Collects and prepares purchase orders.
• Generates purchase orders to suppliers and tracks deliveries.
• Assists in forecasting and negotiating prices.
• Resolves supplier issues related to logistics, pricing, quality, and accounting.
• Maintains ERP system visibility of deliveries and transactions.
• Monitors supplier performance and maintains purchasing logs.
