SPECIALIZED PACKAGING SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst in Newark, CA. The role provides critical analytical support to category managers and the VP of Procurement to optimize procurement processes and drive spend efficiency across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

The position reports to the VP of Procurement and involves interaction with c-suite stakeholders, plant stakeholders, and suppliers. Travel is limited, with REMOTE / HYBRID options based on preference and approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of procurement, business analysis, or supply chain experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems (ERP, data tools, e-sourcing) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leading commercial and market analysis to support procurement work.
• Act as Lead Analyst on high profile procurement initiatives with key stakeholders.
• Ensure analytical governance and reporting standards are upheld.
• Champion the use of technology and digital tools within SPG.
• Develop and maintain procurement reporting and dashboards.
• Advise category managers on data trends, risks, and opportunities.
