Job summary

A London-based private equity investor seeks a Fund Controller to oversee the full fund finance lifecycle, including investor reporting, cash management, capital calls, distributions, and fund accounting. You will liaise with third-party administrators and external auditors, reporting to senior management.

The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, a broad scope across fund finance, and opportunities to influence controls and efficiencies within a well-capitalised fund.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day fund administration with third-party fund administrators.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual fund financial statements and investor reporting.
• Interface with external auditors and tax advisers on year-end audits and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage investor queries and respond promptly.
• Monitor fund cash positions and liquidity across structures.
• Coordinate capital calls, drawdowns, and distributions with Limited Partners and fund finance provider.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial information and robust controls.
• Identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency within finance.
