Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Findlay, OH is seeking a Portfolio Value Manager to lead enterprise value management, aligning initiatives to measurable outcomes and financial targets. You will develop frameworks, forecasts, and benefit realization reporting to drive portfolio performance.

You will partner with Finance, BP&A, and initiative owners to validate assumptions, track benefits, and advise on prioritization and investments to maximize value across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business planning, finance, value management, or portfolio governance.
• Proficiency with financial forecasting and scenario modeling.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills preferred.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into value targets, forecasts, and realization expectations.
• Establish value management frameworks, routines, and reporting across the portfolio.
• Validate business case assumptions and forecast updates with owners and BP&A.
• Oversee value tracking and realization reporting to stakeholders.
• Identify value gaps, forecast variances, and realization challenges.
• Provide decision-support on prioritization and reallocation to optimize value.
• Develop and maintain value reporting controls, standards, and methodologies.
• Coach staff and cross-functional stakeholders on value tracking and forecasting.
