Job summary

Lyra Technology Group in Chicago, IL is seeking an Associate to support M&A integration, value creation, and portfolio operations. This hybrid role blends hands-on financial analysis with leadership-facing workstreams, board materials, and cross‑functional projects.

You will build financial models, develop value creation plans, track performance, and drive the operating rhythm for the leadership team, including diligence, integration, and execution across portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in M&A integration, post-merger integration, or value creation.
• Experience presenting to PE sponsors, boards, or C‑suite leadership.
• Ability to build repeatable artifacts: playbooks, KPI trackers, value plans.
• Comfort switching between strategic analysis and hands-on modeling.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models for prospective MSP acquisitions, including valuation and return analysis.
• Lead diligence and post‑merger integration workstreams with stakeholders.
• Synthesize market research on MSP landscape and themes.
• Prepare investment committee materials and present findings to leadership.
• Track financial and operational KPIs across portfolio companies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analyses with leadership.
• Lead operating rhythm for the executive team: board prep and reviews.
• Run cross‑functional projects end to end with owners and deadlines.
• Draft board decks and investor updates reflecting leadership priorities.
• Support integration planning and execution for new acquisitions.
