Job summary

Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) in Washington, D.C. seeks a Deputy Political Director to support political strategy, manage candidate relationships, oversee vendor partnerships, and coordinate operations across competitive races.

Ideal candidates will have prior campaign or government experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed. This is a full-time, in-office role with standard Eastern hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior political campaign, committee, government, or related experience required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AG races nationwide, candidate activity, polling, opposition research, and political developments.
• Track spending across races and provide updates to leadership.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates, campaign staff, and stakeholders.
• Maintain calendars of elections, conventions, deadlines, and key dates.
• Draft and develop political messaging and materials for RAGA-backed candidates.
• Manage the RFP process for political vendors and coordinate vendor teams.
• Support candidate recruitment, campaign strategy discussions, and political meetings.
• Prepare meeting materials, briefings, agendas, and follow-up items.
• Develop presentations and slide decks for internal and external use.
• Travel for candidate events, recruitment efforts, and meetings.
• Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
