Assertive Professionals seeks a Policy & Planning Analyst to support the DoD/DoW customer in Quantico, VA. The role emphasizes policy drafting, strategic planning, and project governance in a government environment, with on-site requirements and strong emphasis on compliance and reporting.

The position requires an active clearance, 3+ years of relevant experience, and a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, public administration, management, or related discipline (or 8 years of relevant policy/strategic/operational experience)
• Experience conducting organizational assessments, developing procedures, and preparing management documentation
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently
• Competencies in technical writing, business strategy, Lean Six Sigma/SCRUM team leadership and/or DAWIA Program and Procurement Management, Project Management and/or Procurement methodologies
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS and other applicable Federal Regulations and DoD/DoW policies

Responsabilités

• Draft policies, procedures, and standards for DoD/DoW programs
• Support strategic communications and project management activities
• Develop and maintain work breakdown structures and schedules
• Track project costs and performance
• Prepare portfolio, program, and project assessment reports
• Support change control and governance activities
• Facilitate process improvement, working groups, and special projects
• Review information from multiple sources and prepare decision-support information for leadership
