Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a MID-level Policy Analyst to support our Springfield, VA customer site. The role spans strategic, technical, and administrative policy activities, including research, analysis, and development of policies in line with PLCM.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting policy development, SME self-inspection checklists, gap analyses, and coordination with cybersecurity standards such as NIST SP 800-53. US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, International Affairs, Policy or related field.
• 7+ years leading, managing, and working policies under PLCM.
• US Citizenship with TS/SCI and ability to pass CI Poly.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and cybersecurity policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support policy development, review, coordination, and compliance for corporate and IT/cybersecurity policies.
• Develop SME self-inspection compliance checklists to ensure policy implementation and monitoring.
• Lead SME analysis for gap analysis and policy revisions.
• Conduct verification to ensure policies align with external guidance and strategic planning.
• Identify policy gaps and propose solutions to the policy lead.
• Support policy business process improvements and analytics tracking.
