Job summary

Rangen, LLC Inc. is seeking an Inventory & Production Planner to maintain accurate inventory and schedule production in a feed manufacturing plant. You will count inventory, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning and reporting.

The role requires hands-on work on the plant floor, attention to detail, and the ability to align inventory with production needs. Strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or production planning; manufacturing or agriculture/feed experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and production scheduling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging.
• Investigate discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and adjust daily/weekly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Collaborate with procurement, FSQR, Finance, and Customer Service on planning and reporting.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safety-compliant handling of feed ingredients.
