Job summary

The Plant Controller at PFX Group oversees the financial operations of a manufacturing plant, including budgeting, cost analyses, and financial reporting, with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Freehold, NJ facility, with Monday-to-Friday work weeks. Requires CPA and 5–7 years of plant-controller experience in manufacturing. Annual salary is $130,000–$145,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 5–7 years of experience in plant controller or manufacturing finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial control activities of the plant.
• Lead and prepare budgeting and capital budgeting processes.
• Provide daily financial reporting of production and expense metrics.
• Implement programs to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
• Conduct variance analysis and monitor KPIs.
• Manage inventory controls and audits as required.
• Support capital projects analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
