Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources seeks a Senior Strategic Planning Engineer in a hybrid Houston office. You will manage the integrated development schedule for drilling, completions, production, facilities, and infrastructure projects, coordinating with reservoir, drilling, finance, land, and commercial teams to align with corporate goals.

You will analyze scenarios, support long-range planning and budgeting, and deliver dashboards and reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering discipline and minimum five years in upstream oil and gas planning, development, or operations.
• Experience with integrated development planning, capital program management, scheduling, and forecasting.
• Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams to meet objectives and manage complex schedules.
• Proficiency with development planning tools and at least familiarity with Actenum DSO or similar systems.
• Strong analytical skills to model scenarios and assess cross-functional impacts.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Spotfire, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated development schedule across drilling, completions, production, and facilities.
• Collaborate with operations, land, finance, midstream, and commercial teams to align planning with strategy.
• Coordinate schedule updates, milestones, and timing changes to provide visibility into performance.
• Support budgeting, long-range planning, and reserves forecasting with schedule-driven inputs.
• Create and distribute planning reports, dashboards, and KPIs to improve decision-making.
