Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Engineer to maintain the integrated development schedule and capital execution plans across our operated asset portfolio. You’ll partner with reservoir, drilling, completions, production, facilities, midstream, land, commercial and finance teams to align development activities with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering discipline and 5+ years in upstream oil and gas.
• Experience with integrated development planning, capital program management, scheduling, forecasting.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to execute plans.
• Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the integrated development schedule for drilling, completions, production, facilities and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, land, midstream, and commercial teams to align activities with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate schedule updates, milestones, and timing changes for visibility into performance and capital program execution.
• Support planning through scenario evaluation and sensitivity analysis of changing conditions.
• Generate and distribute planning reports and dashboards to improve visibility into status and indicators.
• Assist in annual budgeting, long-range planning, reserves planning, and forecast processes with schedule inputs.
• Identify risks and optimization opportunities to improve capital efficiency and execution.
• Maintain data integrity by validating schedule assumptions and dependencies across teams.
• Develop and enhance planning tools, reporting capabilities, and automated workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, forecasting, and processes using new technologies.
• Provide technical support and management-facing presentations on development plans and alternatives.
