Job summary

McKesson is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Strategic Planning to join our Strategy, Marketing & Operations team.

This individual contributor role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Management and partners with SCS segment leadership to shape near-term priorities. You will translate long-range vision into annual priorities, drive macro direction for sub-segments, and lead structured strategy development across cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of strategy or consulting experience, or relevant healthcare industry experience.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and executive presence at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive macro-level strategic direction for SCS's sub-segments and translate market and competitive insight into near-term investments.
• Lead development of the long-range (3-5 year) strategy with senior leaders and the Strategy & Transformation team.
• Develop structured processes, provide analytical frameworks, and deliver scenario-based recommendations for key choices.
