Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years in strategic planning, corporate strategy, business development, financial planning and analysis, consulting, program management, operations, or related analytical role.
• Exceptional PowerPoint and strong Excel skills; experience maintaining large databases.
• Experience using PowerPoint to communicate strategic insights to executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and communicate internal and external strategic issues impacting growth, profitability, competitiveness, customer priorities, or market position.
• Maintain market and budget databases for current and forecasted budgets.
• Conduct environmental scanning and market surveillance to identify opportunities, trends, needs, policy considerations, and tech shifts.

The Strategic Planner supports the development and execution of long-range corporate or business-area strategies that advance growth, profitability, competitiveness, and mission success. This role identifies internal and external factors affecting the organization, evaluates customer budgets and trends, conducts market and financial analysis, and translates insights into actionable strategic and operational plans.

The successful candidate is a highly analytical, collaborative communicator with strong Excel, data-analysis, and PowerPoint capabilities. They can synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for senior leaders and work effectively across business development, finance, operations, engineering, and program teams.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, business development, financial planning and analysis, consulting, program management, operations, or a related analytical role.
• Exceptional Powerpoint and strong Excel skills - demonstrated experience maintaining large database
• Experience using Powerpoint to communicate strategic insights, recommendations, and other complex ideas to executive level audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

Desired Skills

• Master's degree in a related discipline
• Direct experience in or exposure to strategic planning or competitive intelligence

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
