Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC is seeking a Strategic PIR Mission Subject Matter Expert to support NASIC at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. This on-site role demands deep subject matter expertise for Task 6 operations, guiding analytic methodologies, program and capability development for the PIR mission.

The incumbent will influence planning, programming, and budgeting across the IC and DoD, collaborating with senior partners and government agencies to advance U.S. and allied military objectives.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant technical or security discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience; multiple routes allowed (16+ with a BA/BS; 12+ with an advanced degree).
• Deep understanding of PIR mission, IC/DoD collaboration mechanisms, and program management.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans and requirements for highly technical collection, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
• Provides technical project management guidance for complex, multi-partner efforts.
• Supports contract execution and funding strategies aligned with PIR priorities.
• Advises senior IC/DoD stakeholders and briefs on program status, risks, and recommendations.
• Interfaces with external agencies to enable collaboration, data and product sharing, and integration of ISR capabilities.
