Job summary

Supernus Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Production Planner to oversee scheduling and coordination of materials through the product life cycle in a regulated environment. The role collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Finance, QA/QC, CMOs, and suppliers to align demand, production, and logistics with market needs, ensuring timely fulfillment and optimal inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• APICS certification desirable.
• 4+ years of production planning experience.
• Familiarity with MRPII processes and systems.
• Production planning experience in pharma or regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop master production schedules and purchase plans.
• Plan material receipt and production requirements to meet supply objectives.
• Execute Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MRP, and MPS.
• Plan launch, resupply, and inventory strategies.
• Identify and resolve scheduling issues with internal/external partners.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile raw materials monthly.
• Oversee inventory policies and practices.
• Maintain Item Master data for non and pure-buy items.
• Support weekly/monthly metrics and planning tools development.
