Job summary

Southend Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a Procurement and Inventory Manager to oversee sourcing, inventory control, and logistics for our compounding operations. You will ensure timely material availability, manage supplier relationships, and maintain regulatory compliance across USP guidelines.

The role requires onsite work, collaboration with pharmacists and QA, and experience with ERP systems and regulated supply chains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in procurement, inventory management, or warehousing in pharma/manufacturing.
• Experience in pharmaceutical warehousing and procurement desirable.
• Proficiency with warehouse/inventory ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategically source and procure pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, packaging, and sterile materials.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts in compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800>.
