Job summary

KBR Technical Services is seeking a Major Process Equipment Procurement Specialist to lead procurement and supply chain activities for a major pharmaceutical capital project. You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of equipment, materials, and services.

The role requires 7+ years of procurement experience, including major process equipment, and hands-on leadership, negotiation, and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement and supply chain experience, capital project focus.
• Minimum 4 years procuring major process equipment for pharma/Life Sciences or EPC projects.
• Experience as PMC/owner representative on large capital programs.
• Proven success managing procurement for projects >$250 million.
• Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with global suppliers and Power BI/analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all procurement and supply chain activities for capital project execution.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Lead supplier evaluations, bid processes, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Direct procurement teams, provide leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Drive long-lead equipment, critical materials, and services to meet project schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
