Job summary

AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Perinatal Services to oversee the Women’s Services Department and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role drives strategic planning, operational leadership, and performance improvement across Labor Delivery, GYN & Well Women’s Care, Perinatal Clinic, Lactation, and Education services.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with progressive management experience in Women’s Services/NICU.
• BSN and Master’s Degree in Nursing or Business preferred.
• Current Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing certification (NCC).
• 3+ years clinical neonatal nursing in NICU with leadership exposure.
• Experience with CPQCC and Vermont Oxford Network data collection/analysis.
• Knowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic planning, direction, and control of Women’s Services and NICU.
• Align operations and performance improvement across multiple entities.
• Lead recruitment, training, and capital equipment decisions.
• Ensure policy development and standardized procedures across services.
• Coordinate services within Women’s Services and with other departments.
• Maintain quality control and ongoing staff orientation and education.
• Liaise with Medical Staff and Administration; ensure compliance with laws and standards.
