Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a strategic People Partner for the NYC Metro region. You will advise cafe leadership on people matters, lead workforce planning, and monitor organizational health through field visits and analytics.

With 6+ years in HR, you will navigate complex regulatory requirements and drive talent development, aligning people strategy with business goals in a fast-growing specialty coffee brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including 4+ years as a People Partner in multi-unit settings.
• Expertise in federal, state, and local employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with NYC Fair Work Week and Earned Safe and Sick Time regulations.
• Strong judgment, integrity, and ability to balance risk and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice to cafe leadership on day-to-day people matters and performance management.
• Lead workforce planning and talent strategy with cross-functional partners.
• Visit cafes regularly to assess team dynamics and organizational health.
• Synthesize field insights and analytics to influence People initiatives and investments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and positive team member experience across cafes.
