Job summary

Paywerx, Division of Carr, Riggs & Ingram, is recruiting a Payroll Consultant to manage payroll processing, tax reporting, and client communications. This role emphasizes accurate timekeeping, payroll tax handling, and responsive customer service within a business setting.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in payroll or bookkeeping, familiarity with HCM systems (iSolved preferred), and strong onboarding and benefits enrollment experience.

Qualifications

• A high level understanding of payroll, time keeping and/or payroll tax and benefits
• 3+ years’ experience in payroll or bookkeeping, and accounting in a business setting
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• iSolved HCM Solution experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll processing and tax reporting accuracy for clients
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries
• Assist with HCM-related tasks including benefits enrollment and onboarding of new employees
• Obtain and reconcile payroll information from assigned clients
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax report packages (including 1099s and W-2s)
• Provide ongoing support to clients and address questions and issues
