Job summary

Pure Infusion in Sandy, Utah seeks a Payer Account Manager to own the lifecycle of payer accounts, including contract strategy, negotiations, and performance analysis. You will be the main contact for assigned payers, guiding strategy through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to optimize contracts for financial performance and long-term market access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of payer contracting, contract management, healthcare operations, or medical office management.
• 2+ years of direct payer or partner relationship management experience.
• Experience with data analytics and financial impact analysis using Excel or similar tools.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the full contract strategy for assigned payer accounts, incl. new contracts, amendments, renewals, and renegotiations.
• Analyze payer performance and market conditions to inform strategy and negotiation.
• Lead discussions and negotiations with payers aligned to organizational goals.
• Collaborate with Credentialing to ensure accurate payer applications for sites.
• Conduct data analysis on scheduling, rates, fee schedules, utilization, and reimbursement.
• Prepare reports to support leadership decisions and payer-facing conversations.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency in payer account management.
