Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a healthcare-related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Four (4) years of experience in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required.

Responsibilities

• Lead payer contracting initiatives to support our mission of improving community health.
• Serve as a key liaison between Samaritan and health plans to optimize contract performance and advance value-based care strategies.
• Lead contract review, negotiation, and performance management.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Population Health, and Clinical teams to explore, negotiate, and implement new payment methodologies and value-based payment strategies.
• Build and maintain payer contracts in the computer system.
• Maintain onsite presence in Corvallis, OR for meetings when required.
