Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in supply chain/related field
• Minimum 5 years purchasing/procurement leadership experience
• Proven process-driven leader with hands-on approach to operational excellence and supplier negotiations
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Ability to navigate and negotiate for company alignment
• Experience with SAP and/or Oracle in purchasing context
• ERP implementation experience as end user and manager
• Experience in bus, automotive, or semiconductor industry preferred
• Previous warehouse management or operations experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic and operational roadmap for the team with metrics
• Establish sources of supply, obtain quotations and bids
• Lead a team of Parts Buyers with development and mentorship
• Oversee stock management and end-of-life planning
• Coordinate with parts sales, warehouse and other departments to prevent delays
• Implement cost-reduction plans for parts purchases
• Report cost savings to supply chain director monthly
• Standardize business review templates and supplier reviews
• Drive workflow improvements and automation
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Director on unified planning
• Monitor purchasing metrics and act as SME for ERP/MRP/WMS
