Raytheon is seeking a Principal Strategy Specialist to lead high‑value strategic projects spanning corporate development, partnerships, and external relationships within a hybrid work model at our U.S. facilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5+ years’ prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree with 3+ years’ experience.
• Proven experience developing strategic business cases and conducting related decision analyses.
• Demonstrated success in planning, executing, tracking, and reporting complex projects.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities, including pro‑forma modeling, valuation, and DCF techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and financial data platforms (FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support strategic evaluations, including opportunity assessments and idea generation.
• Conduct analytical assessments and deliver decision‑support materials for senior leadership.
• Execute initiatives related to corporate development, strategic partnerships, and external relationships.
• Engage with the Raytheon Partnerships Accelerator under the direction of the Director.
• Collaborate with RTX Ventures and portfolio companies to identify and advance ideas for pilots and new value‑creation opportunities.
• Facilitate partnership discussions between Raytheon leaders and external companies.
• Support evaluation of merger and acquisition opportunities.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
