Mars Incorporated, serving at the Global Innovation Center in Chicago, seeks a Manager of External Partnerships to bridge Mars Snacking with startups, suppliers, and academia. You will govern, evaluate, onboard, and scale strategic partners to accelerate growth and capability building.

Role emphasizes strategy, analytics, financial stewardship, and program execution across R&D, Commercial, Legal, and Finance teams. Hybrid work in Chicago with strong executive exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Commercial Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities including market assessment and due diligence.
• Experience in corporate strategy, partnership management, or related fields.
• Experience with dashboards, KPI frameworks, and portfolio reporting.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the external partnership roadmap end-to-end.
• Support opportunities across lifecycle from discovery to scaling.
• Lead market research, due diligence, and business cases for partnerships.
• Create repeatable governance playbooks and operating models.
• Evaluate investments, budgeting, and portfolio planning for partnerships.
• Build dashboards and reports to track performance and value creation.
• Prepare executive briefs and decision materials for leadership.
