Lord Abbett, a leading independent asset management firm, seeks an Associate on the Strategic Relationships team. You will manage relationships with top distribution partners, influence platform access, and coordinate across Distribution, Investments, Marketing, and Product to drive strategic outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in asset/wealth management, strong communication, and the ability to navigate complex matrixed environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials (CFA, CAIA, MBA) a plus.
• 4-6 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or distribution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing platforms, segmentation, and opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate with urgency.
• Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and own relationships with key contacts across priority strategic distribution partners.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategies for platform access, product positioning, and commercial outcomes.
• Engage with platform research, product teams, and field leadership to position investments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for consistent communication and execution.
• Prepare briefing materials and strategic analyses for engagements.
• Navigate partner decision processes related to onboarding and distribution initiatives.
• Represent Lord Abbett at due diligence meetings and platform events.
• Mobilize resources across departments to advance relationship priorities.
• Support business planning through analysis of economics, flows, and growth opportunities.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
