Job summary

The City of Cleveland is seeking an Age-Friendly Cleveland Outreach Project Coordinator to lead community outreach for the Age-Friendly initiative. You will plan, administer, and monitor outreach programs, coordinate with city departments and community partners, and prepare status and narrative reports for leadership.

Responsibilities include developing materials, scheduling events, and supporting program evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or closely related field preferred.
• Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in program administration required.
• Must be able to lift and carry thirty pounds.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to increase awareness of department programs and services.
• Coordinate outreach activities with community partners, organizations, and program participants, including scheduling, event logistics, material preparation, and on-site event setup and teardown.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of department events, trainings, community outreach activities, meetings, and recognition programs.
• Develop, gather, and maintain content for department publications, websites, social media platforms, videos, and other public communication initiatives.
• Support multimedia and public information projects by coordinating interviews, collecting stories, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Create and maintain department communication materials and coordinate printing and production requests with internal and external vendors.
• Respond to referrals and requests for assistance from older adults and individuals with disabilities by telephone, email, home visits, and walk-in interactions, providing information, referrals, and appropriate follow-up.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with department staff, City departments, community organizations, service providers, and other stakeholders while representing the department in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records, assist with data collection and reporting, and utilize department software and technology to support outreach activities and program operations.
