Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist senior management with strategic financial planning.
• Provide financial consultation and direction for significant projects and initiatives.
• Oversee development of all department/unit budgets.
• Review budgets for appropriate cost rates and personnel actions.
• Monitor and analyze budget patterns, expenditures, and revenue.
• Oversee management of active budget accounts and fund expenditures.
• Collaborate to resolve funding shortfalls.
• Oversee financial systems and implement process improvements.
• Supervise administrative/financial staff as needed.
• Develop complex financial reports for forecasting and analysis.
• Review and approve finance-related documents and statements.
• Present fiscal status to department/unit leadership.
• Ensure compliance with university regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with internal/external offices on procedures.
• Utilize software to assemble/manipulate data and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
